"The Kaaimans River is ideal for canoeing, swimming, and lazing around on the idyllic secluded beach at the river mouth.

The river is tidal, and if you are lucky, you can catch a spring tide, where green sea water comes all the way up the river. The spring tide is really special, and it is a never to be forgotten experience to ride the incoming bores of sea water all the way up the river.

Further up the river, one can visit a beautiful waterfall. The ideal time to view the waterfall is after strong rains as it is at its most spectacular. However, when it is more gentle, this is the time to book an abseiling trip with Eden Adventures in the gulch."
