Tips for Anchoring the Boat at the Beach
"When you land your rowing boat at the beach, you MUST anchor it. It is fine to throw the anchor down on the sand.
Remember that the river is tidal and you may return to find the boat floating way out in the water if the tide has come in.
The best place to put the anchor is to lie it as far inland (up on the beach as you can). This means that you will have less distance to wade to collect the boat."
