Only accessible by rowing boat or canoe (provided by us), our holiday cottage offers direct access to the beautiful secluded Kaaimans beach, to the Kaaimans waterfall and to unique river kloofing.

Facilities

Three Bedrooms (sleeps 6 - in one double and two twin rooms), 1.5 bathrooms, an additional outside shower, a lounge, a kitchen with the basics, a covered stoep and an open deck.

We also supply a boat or canoe.

We are not on the electricity grid - a generator provides light during the evening. Our stove and fridge are run off gas, as is the hot water system. For additional lighting visitors should bring torches. We don't allow open flame ie candles and paraffin lanterns or gas lamps due to close calls in the past with visitors.
    

Pet Friendly

The cottage is pet friendly by prior arrangement. Well behaved pets are most welcome. Note that the property is not fenced, however the river provides a barrier so that dogs cannot reach the road unless they swim. The holiday cottage backs onto the mountain.

Will You Enjoy This Holiday?

The cottage is rural and for those who enjoy being in the outdoors. If your prefer luxurious hotel settings, then this is definitely not for you. People who like camping and hiking will love it here.
   

What We Don't Offer

There is no microwave. There is no television. There is no ADSL :-). You can get cell phone reception and we recommend that you have a car charger for your cell phone.

Rental Rates 2012

Low Season

Rate: R 900 per night (sleeping 6 people).
Minimum stay: 3 nights

Mid Season

Dates: 1 Oct to 14 Dec; 12 Jan to 31 Mar
Rate: R 1,500
Minimum stay: 3 nights

High Season

Dates: 15 Dec to 11 Jan
Rate: R 2,200 a night.
Minimum stay: 5 nights

Specials / Discounts / Shorter duration

Please enquire about any possible specials on offer. We regularly offer extremely good specials.

Enquire for Last Minute Bookings Specials(shorter than ten days notice).
Enquire for specials for longer stays and midweek stays.
Repeat visitors will get a discount.

Boat Deposit / Breakages Deposit

We also require a R1500 refundable boat/breakages deposit. This will be returned immediately at the end of your stay when the boat is returned to us and the house is returned in good order.
